[tʃ-], Ort in der chinesischen Provinz Hebei, etwa 50 km nordwestlich von Peking; in der Nähe die Gräber von 13 Mingherrschern. Der »Geisterweg« beginnt mit einem monumentalen, 1540 zum Gedächtnis an die Dynastiegründung (1368) errichteten, fünffach gestuften Ehrentor (Pailou) und führt nach 6,4 km zum Changling, dem Grabhügel des Kaisers Chengzu (1402-24); Abzweigungen führen zu den übrigen Gräbern. Hinter dem Ehrentor das »Große rote Tor« (1425), dessen mittlerer Durchgang für die verstorbenen Kaiser und dessen linker für die lebenden Herrscher bestimmt war, weiter ein Pavillon mit Schildkrötenstele (1426), die Allee der Steinskulpturen (1435) und das Drachen-Phönix-Tor. Der Grabhügel ist von einer hohen Mauer umgeben.
